If you’re a black person, don’t even waste your time applying here. This company has bad reviews regarding hiring discrimination and I happened to be one of the people who got the short end of the stick. It doesn’t matter that I have 4 years of experience and a MASTER’s degree. I came to the interview with props and the level of excitement that was required. It didn’t matter. I knew immediately once the recruiter saw that I was black that I didn’t get the job. And then I got the denial email.
The interview process entailed of a short demo video, and two online interviews in which it was necessary to pretend to teach with the given materials. They suggest that you create some props and be as enthusiastic and fun as possible to align with the company values.
The interview went very well and my mock class but they never got back to me. They said they would reply in 2 or 3 days. Never contacted me again. Unreliable company.
The interviewer was a pleasure, extremely friendly, and informative. Beginning with a few mandatory questions we then began the interview process which was, too, rather pleasant. All material was available prior to the interview, allowing for pre-reading and preparation. Expectations were clerly outlined. All-in-all, enjoyable.
