La entrevista duró tres horas. Hablé con 6 personas distintas, desde desarrolladores, QA, CTO y VP. Todos muy amables, y me hicieron sentir muy cómodo todo el tiempo. Si bien fue larga, fue también llevadera y cordial.

The company culture is amazing and the CEO really cares about her employees and clients. The product is loved and it seems like a fun place to work. I interviewed here for an SE position and fell in love with the place and was made an offer but had to deal with a really bad recruiter. Not only did she try to low-ball me, despite me obviously having another offer from another company for that salary range, but she used various manipulation tactics to try to pressure me into accepting the job. During the initial round of negotiations, when I told her about my other offer, she said that the company couldn't match that as it's not in range. Then she proceeded to ask what school I went to and told me that they don't even offer Berkeley grads that amount. Plus, someone with my years of experience only make XYZ amount. Also, it's pretty obvious that candidates would interview at multiple companies and need at least a week to decide on an offer because it's a big deal. Despite this, within the week, she lectured me, told me not to tell Madison Reed that I was interviewing with others, made some dumb analogy to dating people, then told me how they don't even pay engineers with 10+ years of experience the salary I was getting. Also try to make me feel bad about needing a few more days, asking me why am I hesitating, told me they had backup candidates etc. I'm not declining the offer because of the recruiter, but for other reasons. However, I think they should reconsider who they hire to interact with candidates. Negotiations should be a positive experience.
Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know how your candidate experience was; it's truly important for us to be able to learn and continue to create a positive applicant experience and we have learned a lot from your feedback! We have assembled an amazing recruiting team in recent months and strive to always be highly communicative while seeking to make sure that every aspect is professional and warm. Thank you again.
