Entretien
The first step is an interview on the phone. Main topics are previous work experience and motivation to work at Machinio. This step was a quite positive experience.
The second step is a role-play interview. Primarily there is a role play (cold-call and solution demo). During the first call I was told that there will be a section in the second interview only about the position, their expectations and what it takes to be successful. The team however failed to follow through with that and also did not leave time for me to ask any questions.
This was a perfect example of how not to treat an applicant. They did not reach out about a decision until I asked.

I applied online. HR team quickly reacted asking to setup a first introduction call of 30 minutes. This was about explaining more about the position, the company and the type of contract offered. They also asked about my motivation.
All very quick and straightforward.

I´ve had a very pleasant experience with Machinio´s interview process. I had one interview with HR, got invited to the second round but declined because I found another job. Nevertheless, the interview I did have was very pleasant and professional. Machinio aims to complete the entire interview process within 2 weeks, which is great! The second interview was supposed to be a case study and role play scenario. I feel like Machinio does a very thorough job when it comes to screening/interviewing candidates.
