      Entretien

Several phone screens. Unclear direction on next steps or what they're looking for. Was told the next step was an on site interview, but was scheduled for yet another phone screen. They were looking for specific experience, but only disclosed it after several interviews. Their work life balance is non-existent and they make fun of those who seek it. Several red flags and the reviews confirm that this is not a place I want to work at.

I found the experience to be underwhelming and the interviewer to be rude. She frequently interrupted before I was able to fully explain my answer. Similar questions were repeated multiple times. It seemed there was some difficulty following the technical explanation on her end which made it challenging to communicate the depth of the work effectively.

I went into the interview process with low expectations after reading some of the press about this company, but figured it might be worth it for the interview experience. Mind you, they reached out for an analysis role, despite all my experience being in design. I had reminded them of this several times. The process included five phone calls, which were repetitive and uncoordinated. I often had to remind the team where I was in the process hiring process. A quick search on LinkedIn revealed that several of the "interviewers" were still in college, yet they were presenting themselves as full-time staff. The on-site portion included two one-on-one interviews—both were a complete rehash of earlier phone screenings, even with the same people. To top it off, one interviewer showed up with the smell of alcohol on their breath. I also had a technical presentation. It could have been a solid opportunity to showcase past projects/skills, but it was derailed by constant interruptions—mostly unrelated jokes and banter among the panelists. Just when I thought the experience couldn’t get more bizarre, I may or may not have noticed a room filled with bunk beds during my visit. Not a red flag at all! At the end, the notified me that they are looking for someone with more of an analysis background (remember my constant reminders from day one that my experience is more design-based?). Sucks I burned a day of PTO for these guys.
