J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 5 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez MX

      Entretien

To start from the top, they cold contacted me to recruit for a new position. I was not in the market, but after reading their company values I was intrigued. After an initial phone screen I was moved on to the next step, which was a chat with the hiring manager. Rather than asking my availability they sent out a meeting invite without any prior conversation around timing. Most companies ask for time slots and such. I had a conflict for that day, but was able to reschedule to the next day. This was mostly a non issue at the time, but turned out to be a red flag for later in the process. The call with the hiring manager appeared to go well. He seemed like someone I could work with/for, and seemed to genuinely appreciate my responses and indicated such on serveral occasions. At the end of the call, I was told recruiting would be in touch regarding next steps. I realize that can be used as a standard line even if you aren't moving forward, but it usually means you will hear something either way. However, at that point they ghosted me. I waited a few weeks to provide this feedback, should things just have been slow on their end. However, upon logging into their hiring portal, my application simply says "not selected" next to it. I also did not receive a form email stating I was not chosen. Receiving a turndown email/letter is standard operating procedure from a candidate perspective when you aren't chosen for a role. To not communicate at all is unprofessional, especially when the company pursued the candidate to begin with. I advise anyone to exercise caution before pursuing employement with this company. You will notice there are several red flags, including: recent layoffs, reviews indicating "ghosting" and "poor communication", lack of professional courtesy, etc.. This isn't a one off instance. Rather, this is a pattern of unprofessional behavior.
