Had an initial hour long phone interview that covered broad aspects of computing and some of my previous work. After the phone interview I was asked to attend a face-to-face interview at their office. This interview was much more in depth and covered several programming-specific topics. I was also given the opportunity to explain in more technical detail the work that I had done in the past. This stage lasted roughly 3 hours.
After the interview I was invited to meet the current team of software engineers. During this time I was given a demo of the software that I would be working on and an opportunity to ask any questions I had.

I applied through a staffing agency. I was invited to do an interview over the phone. This was the first of a three-stage interview. Questions were mainly based around my CV and passion for the field.

I had an over the phone interview. After completion of the phone interview I was asked to carry out a code challenge. After this, I was then invited to have a face-to-face interview. The whole interview process was very interesting and well organised. On top of that the interviewers were very welcoming and the atmosphere of the interview was very relaxed. It felt more like a informal discussion rather than a technical grilling.
I subsequently accepted their job offer and haven't looked back.
