      Entretien pour Junior Project Manager

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez MUFG

      Entretien

The interview process had 3 parts to it. The first was a generic interview over the phone asking basic questions such as, "Why did you apply?" and "Why do you think you would be a good fit for this position?" Once I got passed that, I had a second phone interview with the gentleman that is running the program. This was one of the strangest interviews I have ever had. I was asked about how a microwave works, how I would draft a basketball team, and how would I got about washing an interview outfit if my washer was broken. The third interview was in person. It lasted almost 2 hours and I interviewed with 3 different people. I interviewed with the gentleman from the second interview first. He had me give a 3 minute presentation about a random subject that he made up, and I had to feel out how long 3 minutes was without having a timer in front of me. The other 2 men I met with asked me more relatively normal interview questions, and I was able to ask them a lot of questions as well about the program and the company. They were very helpful and kind. I was told after the 3 interviews I should hear back within a week if I was chosen for the position or not. A week and a half went by, and I get an email saying that I am a top candidate but more interviews are still taking place and I should know within a week. A week later, I get a call saying I am a top candidate but they are still doing more interviews. Final, another week later I get a generic confirmation email from Talent and Acquisition that I didn't get the job without any feedback. I emailed the main woman who I had been in contact with asking if there was any feedback she or any of the other people I interviewed could give me, and I never heard anything back. I understand wanting the best candidates for a position like this, but I felt like I kept getting pushed aside. It seems like they wanted to find better candidates than the ones they had but also wanted to string me and probably others along just in case they couldn't find more qualified people for the job. I had good interview experiences overall, but the way I was treated after my final interview makes me think that not getting this position may have been a blessing in disguise. If this at all reflects how this company operates, I would be very careful when considering taking a full-time position.

      Questions d'entretien [4]

      Question 1

How does a microwave work? What does the microwave do to heat up the food? What does the light inside do?

      Question 2

You are drafting a basketball team for a tournament and you have one more spot. You can either pick a guy who is very, very good but not a team player or a guy who everyone likes but is an average player. Who do you choose? Why?

      Question 3

You have an interview outfit that is dirty and 2 hours before a very important interview. You need to wash the outfit, but the washing machine is broken. What do you do?

      Question 4

Without a timer, give a 3 minute presentation about Red Dolphins. (Red Dolphins was a random, fictional topic that was given, and I improvised a made-up presentation about these animals)

      Entretien

Interview process was: 1) Phone screen with Recruiter 2) Phone screen with management 3) interview panel + interview with director. Seemed like a lot of interviews for an entry level position
