The process started with a screening call, followed by a meeting with the hiring manager. Both conversations felt positive and constructive, and I came away with a good impression of the team and the role.
However, after meeting the hiring manager, communication stopped completely. It has now been almost a month since my last interview, and despite following up several times over the past two weeks, I have received no response or update. At this point, it feels like I have simply been ghosted.
Candidates invest a significant amount of time preparing for interviews, and basic communication and closure should be standard practice. Even a brief update or rejection email would have been appreciated.
Unfortunately, the lack of follow-up left a negative impression of the overall candidate experience.
