Applied on-line. Initial screening call. Usual behavioral questions. Set up a call with Senior Security Manager. Call arranged for a week after the initial screening call. 1 hour call went well with Manager saying "I want you to talk to the SVP and want to move you forward to the next stage". I was told the initial recruiter would set up the follow up call with the SVP. Week passed. I emailed chasing date and time. Recruiter off sick. Email from recruiter saying process was "still on first round of interviews". Huh??? Chased following week. "We've not forgotten you". Crickets for a week. Emailed chasing for update. Nothing. 1 week later chased again. "We're still working on first round". This dragged on for several weeks. After 6 weeks of nothing (I'd long since given up hearing from them) I emailed the recruiter for an update. I got a boiler plate rejection email in response. If this is how Centurylink operate their business I want no part of it. Very disappointing experience with contradicting messages. Lack of respect shown was consistent.
