I filled out an online application. There are the usual personality questions - common sense stuff. Some of them are worded in very tricky ways, though, so be sure to read each one very carefully before choosing a response. Almost a month later I was called for an interview. Four or five other candidates were there. We took turns waiting to talk to the HR manager, the store manager, then an assistant store manager. They ask basic experience questions, such as "Tell me about a time when you..." Almost another month went by before I was called and asked if I would like the job.

The interview was a brief 15-minute discussion of the hours you are available and scenario questions to see if you are a natural problem solver. It was low-stress and I had the chance to ask many of my own questions.
