      1- phone screen by recruiter to make sure you meet minimum requirements. 2- phone interview with hiring manager. 3- work sample to hand in before final interview 4- on-site interview with 3 parts (hiring manager, panel of team members, director of team)

      They simply do not understand the value of time. Cancelling drives last minute is something casual at Lowes. Please understand that that people out there have real jobs where they cannot take UPL’s as they wish. I interviewed for the position and was rejected in the last face to face in campus drive saying “ i di not have enough experience ?” . So this could not be communicated to me earlier even before coming for the face to face interview, since I attended 3 rounds of interviews including a virtual face to face interview. The best part is they selected someone who has experience in UK process when the the position was for US ERC. POV: As per my calculations, its clear that the decision was very biased based on gender as at Lowes they provide cab with security to female employees only and there is no cab facility for the male candidate.Inviting female candidates was just a eye washer. Since the interview was supposed to be just a communication round, the preparation was according to that, but to my surprise it was a technical round with a person who was tagged to conduct my interview and expected me to know Lowes company policy while working on contacts. Suggestion to the interviewer: please understand that the policies that a company follows is different in different companies. It’s unrealistic for you to expect that the candidate will know the SOP’s and policies even before working at your company. Also please maintain a friendly gesture while conducting an interview, as a straight face would only confuse the candidate. Stop using such strategies to conduct interviews if you do not plan to hire female employees. Lastly, it’s very heartbreaking to say that i really discriminated because of my gender and this is not something that was expected out of Lowe’s India after reading the policies in the company website.
