Interview was good asked 5 questions and interviewer advised I would pass depending on my scoring. I passed!!! Now waiting for an informal call from the interviewer. I believe next stage is the typing and listening test.

The online application was easy and I was invited to a Call Stimulation and Typing assessment a month later.
I turned up for the assessment and a lady asked the candidates for their names. I said my name first which was a big mistake and I was lead into a room where another lady was waiting and to my horror I was told that I was going to do on a spot assessment with two of them in the room.
The other lady went out of room and handled the candidates a preparation sheet which was not fair because I was not given any preparation. I was told to read a piece of paper and let them know when I was ready. I was sitting at the table with two of them staring at me and it made feel so uncomfortable.
I went over to computer to do the assessment and I messed up big time because I felt under extreme pressure.
After the assessment I was told to sit outside and they will call me back in. I spoke to other candidates and said that failed and that I had put at a big disadvantage.
While I was sitting outside the other 3 candidates said that they could hear laughter coming from the interview room. A few minutes the lady told me to go back into the room. I was then told that I failed which I already knew and the other lady had her head down the whole time and would not look me in the face.
I told them that they put me under extreme pressure and that if I had known that they were going to do this to me I would never have said my name first.
The lady said I could apply again well there is no way on this earth that I would ever do that.
I did not even respond and walked out of the room.
I am shocked that London Ambulance Service would treat people like this. One of their values is respect well I was not respected at that assessment centre. I was in out of the building in 20 minutes.
I can honestly say that was worse assessment that I have ever been to.
My advice do not apply unless you are prepared to be made to look like a fool.
