The interview process was smooth. It was refreshing to go through the process within a few days rather than waiting for weeks to hear back from a company. They were very transparent with the process and timelines so I knew what to expect.
I started off by applying online through the MaRs job board over the weekend and was instantly notified my resume was received. Within 2 days I received an email for a 20 minute phone screening. We were able to find a time-slot that worked for both parties and had a very thorough and engaging conversation with one of their representatives. They did a great job at explaining the company's vision and culture within that short time frame.
I was pushed forward with an in-person technical interview the next day and I was impressed by how efficient the process was. They saw interest in me and didn't waste anytime to set something up. During the in-person interview I was greeted by the director and the same representative that I spoke with through the phone. It was a very enjoyable interview and they had some very novel case study questions that really provoked some critical thinking.
Unfortunately, by the end of the week I was notified that I did not get the position but I was glad that they were able to provide me with some great feedback for the future. I appreciate that the whole process only took a work week and that I was able to have some proper closure with this experience.
These guys are a young team and I was excited for the possibility to work with them because I wanted to really feel that ambitious aura again after spending so many years in a complacent work environment. Unfortunate how it turned out but now I'm convinced that I want to work in a startup.
Keep growing!

The process started with a phone screening. Detailed call with various technical and general questions about marketing. Then immediately moved to the in-person interview scheduled literally the same day. Everyone was late for the interview. Started it with a junior, answered the questions then the rest of management decided to show up including CEO where I had to re-answer all the questions. Unprofessional and inefficient. Noticed various childish acts by the CEO including talking about an unrelated subject that I was not aware of with the rest of his team in the middle of interview as if I'm not in the room... Crypto is a sinking ship and this company is seemingly run by a bunch of high school kids... I'd say don't waste your time going thru their repetitive and immature process

Question 1
Draw a funnel on the whiteboard showing 10,000 visitors, 500 leads, 50 opportunities, and 10 new customers (or any other numbers you think are interesting). Now, pretend you're the CMO for the company, and you have to decide what your marketing team should do to improve on these metrics. Which areas of the funnel would you focus on, and what would you do differently to change these results?
