I was initially referred for the job by a friend, and after reviewing my resume, the Senior Electrical Engineer decided he wanted me on the team. I was studying in the United States at the time so it took the Human Resources Department a couple weeks before they figured out how/ they would employ me. After the decision was make I had a simple interview were I mostly got to know my future boss better and we made arrangements for my starting day.
