Applied via Linkedln and received an email to book a call with the recruiter. Lovely 30-minute call in which it was very casual and more about myself as a person than anything with some questions about the job and if I felt comfortable working with the aspects they needed for the job. After that, she elaborated a lot on the salary, benefits, and her own personal joys of working at LS, which was actually unexpected but very welcoming. It was the first interview I had that I felt that not only was trying to sell myself to the company but the company was trying to sell themselves to me. Next, I was sent a technical form to fill out. Literally, just have to answer the questions and do the tasks as instructed. Can't go wrong. The next step was an interview with the manager and team leader. A good hour of discussion about previous work, questions, some technical questions along with role-playing, which was a tad difficult. From hindsight, all they want to see is how you are as a person and how you would work under pressure, and if you fit. Although I assumed I wasn't going to be offered the job, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. To my surprise, I received an email a week later asking to quickly speak to them on the phone, and boom, I was offered the job. A very pleasant experience all around, incredibly transparent which only made me want to work at the company even more and the honesty was something that helped a lot as well along the way.
