First, there was an online assessment in which I had to troubleshoot a hypothetical problem and write some simple code. Then there was a short one-on-one phone screen to learn more about me and the job, and ask me some technical questions. After that, came a longer interview with several people to ask questions and do some live coding. Finally, a discussion with the COO, mostly for me to ask more questions.
It sounds like a great place to work. I only declined the offer because it was the first I got, and I wanted to explore all of my options more thoroughly before committing to something.

Question 1
I don't want to share details, but there were questions about node and javascript, testing, AWS, FaaS, DevOps, and I had to re-implement some common functions/helpers in javascript.

2 hours assessment followed by a 30 minutes phone interview then email rejection with no feedback. It is pretty terrible to waste candidate time like this, if I were to spend 2.5 hours on the application process, I expect to hear more than "we decide to not move forward"

Nothing too crazy, show some broken code for you to fix

The best interview process I’ve had so far.
1 - Within the same day of applying, my resume was reviewed and I was sent the coding assessment.
2 - The scenarios from the assessment were very realistic to what you would encounter in your day to day.
3 - Received plenty of feedback on my submission within 1 day and during the weekend!!
4 - Received a final response in less than 48 hours.
There’s a lot of debate that the hiring process for SWEs is broken but that’s not the case here. I wish all interviews were like this!
Tips for improvement: I wish there had been more time to resolve the coding challenge.

Troubleshooting a performance issue and a JavaScript coding test. Both were time boxed.

The entire interview process was pretty seamless. It started with a 100-minute Woven assessment. After that followed a 1 on 1 phone interview where we talked about my experience and I was asked some technical questions. The final interview was a virtual on-site with a group panel.
