J'ai postulé en personne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Life.Church

      Entretien

I have been trained in interviewing and based off of that knowledge: the interview process is pretty intense at Life.Church. You'll definitely want to prepare extensively with basic questions, creative questions and very deep/vulnerable questions. They are not afraid to put you on the spot and will not shy away from personal topics. There is no malicious intent but it can be pretty intense to be the one on the hotseat. Before I interviewed, it was made clear to me that many people are known to cry during the interview process, and I found that to be true even for me. If you are married they will allow you to bring your spouse along which I would imagine can be incredibly helpful. During my time there (I will try my best to remember), the process began with a type of "speed-date" style interviewing where you were given 5 minutes or so with 2-3 people before switching to another set of 2-3 people. The questions here are more basic, low-intensity and general and it's meant to be fast. This goes on for 6-8 sets of people before the second phase of the interview begins. The second phase is more intimate as you are in a room with 3 sets of 2-3 people, each set spending about 15-20 minutes with you. The questions in this phase are very personal and intense. After that, you are free to go and the interviewers all enter a conference room to discuss each candidate one-by-one. Thankfully, you are not there for this portion. However, I had another interview with Life.Church where a portion of the interview was in a conference room with about 5 people and they all took turns asking me a variety of questions. But I cannot say if that was standardized interviewing procedure or if it was specific to the job I was applying for. All that to say your best course of action is to: prepare your answers ahead of time, be ready to be honest/vulnerable and definitely don't forget to pray!

      Question 1

(Forgive me as I cannot remember many) 3 of your best qualities & 3 of your worst qualities. Tell me a joke ("I can't think of one" or "I'm more of a witt person" are not acceptable answers!) Why do you want a job in ministry Worst feedback you've ever received Worst failure you've ever experienced and what did you learn Worst mistake you've ever made
