Entretien
Fairly typical online tests followed by assessment centre. The assessment is done over 2 days with tour of facilities, lunch w/ assessors, group task, written task and an interview/presentation.
Leonardo provide accommodation in a nearby hotel, which is used for the assessment exercises the next day. You also have dinner with current graduate engineers this is a handy time to get some useful information on the company (and some hints on the upcoming assessments if you keep their wine glass filled, just don't have too much yourself).
Assessments are fairly relaxed on the day, but be aware of potential mind-games being played (e.g employees hidden amongst applicants, assessors deliberately being late, etc.) so try not to say something too unprofessional when you think no one is listening.
Feedback is provided around 2 weeks after the assessment if requested, there you can hear about what to improve and what to not stress about so much in the future. Leonardo assesment centres are very similar to other companies in the UK defence sector (MBDA, BAE, ect) in how they are run so feedback can be incredibly useful in improving future performance.
