J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Lendbuzz en avr. 2024

The interviewer was late to our scheduled call and I had to email them to remind them about our meeting. Despite this, the conversation went well and they wanted to move me forward to the next round after discussing my experience.
We agreed I would confirm my availability for the following week immediately after the call. I promptly did so, only to receive a rejection email a few hours later with no explanation whatsoever.
It's clear this company doesn't value candidates' time or effort. I hope they seriously reconsider their recruitment practices to avoid further wasting people's time.
Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Lendbuzz (New York, NY) en janv. 2024

1. Call with HR which was alright, but then they insisted on getting the interview scheduled quickly.
2. Tech Screen with Backend Lead (5yoe) - seemed okay. 3 questions. Interview was really easy, it was about merging strings such as they're alternating. One SQL question -- easily solved by using JOINS, GroupBY and last question was a coding question about calculating for active monthly price for subscriptions (google this you'll find it easily).
3. Interview with Director (6 yoe) -- Came to the interview a few mins late, asked me whether I had time after the interview so we could solve the SD question together and got mad when I told I had work to do after the interview by saying "Oh you are busy??" Zero time management skills for the interview as it was for an hour out of which 45 mins he spend on discussing my background and then last 15 mins he rushed to give me a SD problem which was to design an entire app in 15 mins and started arguing with me on design decisions. I had also asked recruiter whether this would be a behavioral or SD round and she told me it was behavioral so this was a surprise.
Anyways, it feels like the entire company doesn't respect or value your time with interviews coming in late and expecting you to stay after the interview. The recruiter calling you without any notice and expecting you to pick up the call.
Waste of time to be honest. The interview with Director was the biggest red flag I have ever seen. He barely has 6 years of experience and was talking a big game and didn't even know basics of DBs work.
Don't waste your time interviewing with this company, it's a waste of time and energy
