The worst interview process - AVOID !!! Before speaking to anyone, I was asked to complete 3 assessments (around an 1 hour total): a timed IQ test, an emotional-intelligence test and a personality test. All felt biased and unrelated to a Product Designer role. Almost two weeks later, I finally heard back from a rather rude, brusque internal recruiter who invited me to interview and casually mentioned that their maximum salary range is below the national average - max £50k. The first interview with two people from the product team mostly highlighted internal issues and low product/organisational maturity. Then I was asked to complete an unpaid design task, which took several days of work. The final stage was with the CPO and Engineering Manager, who showed no interest in the solution itself; their questioning felt more like an interrogation, and it became obvious the business had no intention of actually improving the product. I then waited another 2 weeks for an update (after the final interview!!!), only to be told that a new CPO had joined and decided to pause hiring for the role entirely... A messy, disorganised process and company! A huge waste of time! I do not recommend applying here!
