Incredibly picky and judgmental. Even if you have a college degree, it's not good enough for them to hire you on to scoop dry food into baggies for them. If you're new in your vegan journey, forget it. They want you to have been vegan for 10 years while having been well-versed on every single vegan book and movie. If you give one answer wrong, or explain you may not have read something, but would love to get more information and grow, they will chide you. They do not want someone who is open to veganism and wants to learn and grow while supporting a small business and vegan ideals. This is why they are bleeding employees and constantly have their hiring ads on indeed. Beware of bad upper management and extremely judgmental people who give vegans a bad name.
