It was okay- they seem like a good company and were nice, lots of questions and sales tactics. Seems like a lot of lead generation nand cold calling, which I am not interested in so I did. Not move forward

I’ve never written an interview review before, but my experience with Lawmatics was so negative that I feel compelled to share it to warn future candidates. The process involved three interviews over about a week and a half. The first was with the team lead of account managers, the second with the Director of Customer Success, and the third with the VP of Growth. I was surprised by how easy the interviews were; they mostly asked basic questions, which made it seem like they weren’t very interested in really getting to know me. The second interview was technical, focusing on the platform. I had prepared EXTENSIVELY for this.... spending hours and days getting ready. However, during the interview, I was instructed to only complete one or two tasks, and that was it. Which left me feeling like I didn’t get the chance to fully demonstrate my knowledge. The interviewer also seemed tired and not fully present. The third interview felt more like a casual conversation with surface-level questions. Up to this point, everyone had been nice, responsive, and professional, with no major red flags—aside from the superficial nature of the interviews. After the third interview (on a Friday), I was told I would hear back by the following Wednesday. However, I never received a response. I followed up politely on Thursday with the director but didn’t hear back until the following Sunday. They apologized for the lack of communication and assured me I would hear back no later than next Tuesday. That Tuesday came and went again with no response. A few days later, I followed up again, and after two full weeks, still no decision. I reached out once more in the third week, but again received no reply. Now, it’s been over four weeks? and I am 100% ghosted. All the hard work, time, and gas money it took to prepare for 3 interviews and I was ghosted. Not even a rejection. As a candidate, I was genuinely excited about this opportunity. While I understand that the job market is tough and I would have accepted a rejection, the real frustration came from being given several timelines by multiple people, only to be ignored each time. I never expected to be ghosted, especially after reaching the final round. Despite the disappointing experience with leadership, I want to note that everyone I interacted with at the employee level seemed genuinely nice. It’s unfortunate that I experienced such unprofessionalism from the leadership team. Its the moral and professional thing to notify a candidate of their status - whether accepted or not. We put so much energy into preparation.
