J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez LGC (Hoddesdon, East of England, England) en oct. 2019
Entretien
I received a call from a recruiter who had seen my CV on a job board and thought I was a good match for the job. I spoke to the recruiter on the phone and face to face for a total of 2.5 hours. Then I had a phone interview, a face to face interview and a presentation with the hiring manager for a total of 6 hours. Also, I spent a minimum of 8 hours preparing the presentation. In the end I received a no.
The position had been filled temporarily by another member of staff so that was an indication that the company was in no hurry to recruit someone else. The same questions were repeated over and over. Half way through the interview process I felt it was a waste of time. I could have invested my time searching, applying and chasing other opportunities.
There are plenty of negative reviews about the Hoddesdon site on Glassdoor from previous and current employees and I am not surprised. Any hiring manager who can spend 6 hours talking to a candidate, has too much time to spare. Stop wasting candidates' time and find other ways to justify your existence and salary.
