the interview process was about 4 to 5 rounds, all via zoom, well worth the wait and screening process as this career is beyond amazing with so much opportunity out there as the Legal Tech field is just getting started

Incredibly rushed interview process left me with several red flags which resulted in me declining the eventual job offer. I applied online and got a response within 2 days. The HR recruiter offered me 2 options for our call, one about 2 days later and another the following week. When I picked the later date she immediately advised that it was too long and didn’t me to offer the later date in the 1st place….. :-/.
Fairly standard BDR interview process (what were your kpi’s, etc at your current job). After the HR recruiter screening call I spoke with the hiring manager within 48 hours. Got a reference request shortly after that interview and really wanted to slow things down because I felt rushed throughout the whole process. Ended up going down the rabbit hole of glass door to see how terrible some of the reviews were. Really wish I had looked into it prior to interviews. Also the compensation offered was terrible. Base salary + commission. They only pay out on closed won deals - nothing else for a BDR role. No payouts on meetings booked, MQL’s, Pipeline progression KPI’s, nada!

I felt like LEAP's interview process was fairly typical. I did 3 interviews prior before receiving an offer from the company. 1st round with LEAP's in house recruiter, 2nd with my potential Team Lead, and 3rd with a Sales Manager. The interviews focused on prior relevant experience, socialization skills, and employment candidate career goals. All of my interviews were done via Zoom, and took between 30-45 minutes. In addition to the interviews I was asked to complete a caliper assessment which took a few hours to complete. I'm not sure if the assessment played a large role in the hiring process or not. From my understanding, the results of the assessment were more to be used as insight on how to appropriately coach/manage employees if/when brought on board.

Question 1
After being given an overview of the position I was asked the open ended question - "What do you think it would take to be successful in this role?"
