J'ai passé un entretien chez LCS

      Entretien

I was initially excited because they were so communicative, they replied to my application rather quickly and we set up an interview within just a couple of days. The interview is just as much for the applicant to learn about the company as it is the company to learn about the applicant. The interviewer was quite late, first red flag for me. Time is valuable, I carved time out of my day to speak to this person and the first impression she gives on behalf of LCS is an inability to follow through on a plan. And just generally giving a vibe of haphazard chaos as she finally did take part in the interview with me. After that hurdle we had a good conversation, I answered all the questions, the recruiter seemed pleased. The conversation flowed nicely, I am borderline overqualified for the role, but the company is interesting to me. It all sounded great. She wrapped up our interview by telling me she would call me later on that day, once she had a chance to speak with one of the hiring managers so we could set up a follow-up interview. I waited until EOD, no email. No call. Two red flags and I've hardly had any interaction with this company, I'm no longer feeling as confident this is a good company to work for. But, it was a the end of the week with a three day weekend coming up, so I assume its just a busy office, maybe they will follow up come next week. The following week comes and I've been ghosted. I reach out to the recruiter by email and she doesn't even bother to send a canned rejection my way. After explicitly telling me I would get some kind of follow up. I'm very thankful I'm in a position to decline work, if there had been any follow up from this company, I would not choose to work here. It seems like a dumpster fire behind the scenes if they can't get something as simple as an email or an interview done on time.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

Basic, standard interview stuff. Why do you want to work here, why don't you want to stay at your current job. If you've ever interviewed before, these are very simple questions.
