The Konrad interview process was very extensive, I completed the below
- 30 minute recruiter conversation
- 1 hour Vice President Interview
- 3 Hour Design thinking challenge (Part 1)
- 1 Hour Design thinking presentation (Part 2)
- 1 hour In person interview VP
The interview process moved quite quickly, you don’t get feedback after each interview and instead are just told if you have progressed to the next stage. They ask a multitude of random questions, your typical McKinsey / Bain questions like estimating the number of coffee cups in Toronto. I found the people I spoke to quite welcoming and was switched between the lead and another recruiter throughout the process
I was told throughout the process I was liked by everyone and had to pay for flights and accommodation to come down for an interview in person. The interview was the same as my first stage interview with some of the same questions being asked, I was told prior to this interview they wanted to offer but couldn’t do it till they met me in person.
A week after my interview, and being told I had passed all the capability tests including a 3 hour design thinking challenge with no negative feedback points provided the team emailed to say they had gone with someone else without providing any reason as to why. I sent a note back asking for feedback to which I received no constructive feedback of why I didn’t get the job.
I recommend reading Glassdoor reviews about the firm before pursuing with them, it seems they have a flat structure with little regard to wellbeing or the time and commitment which goes into an interview process with misleading messaging throughout and no willingness to provide feedback to candidates
This was a very displeasing interview process, and I was shocked by how little regard was taken after they decline you at the final stage

At least yep rounds first one was with hiring manger. Second is with someone on the strategy team. Questions about your resume and what is Konrad. Definitely have a good answer prepared for that one because they ask it almost immediately in the interview.
Asked some technical questions that threw me off guard, but overall not too difficult if you prepare a bit. Phone screening then made it to the second round but didn’t know how to answer all questions properly
