The interview process was thorough, but lengthy and repetitive. After a call with the recruiter and an hour-long technical screen with the hiring manager, I was given a take-home challenge, and, upon completion, had a 90-minute code review with the team, which segued directly into a combination technical/character review with the team members.
After passing through that stage, I was invited on-site for a 2-day, 12 hour interview. The first day included a product overview, a two-hour coding challenge, lunch with the team, a two-hour technical interview, an hour-long logical thinking interview, and a discussion with the director of engineering. Day 2 was an office tour and a two-hour whiteboarding session.
I admired the commitment to quality on the team, as well as the speed of the interview process, but it was grueling and exhausting, and I felt as though I answered many of the same questions multiple times to the same people, and that I had proven my abilities over several times.
