Short introductory interview on the phone. Then an hour long interview with an Engineer/Team Lead. Technical questions along with conceptual questions. Explanation of how to solve an algorithm problem. All done over the phone.

Quick intro screening interview with HR. I think the more technical questions should be left for a later round where the interviewer is on the engineering team and can be more nuanced that a black and white answer.

I had 5 rounds of interviews and while they were interviews, they were very conversational which I think speaks to the company’s overall culture. They were very quick in scheduling the interviews and always responsive to questions throughout the process.
