I was contacted by telephone out of the blue by a manager in the US. It took weeks to get a date for a follow-up telephone interview sorted. After this took place, I travelled to the company's office. The interviewer's demeanour changed half-way through the interview, so I knew that something was wrong, but I still don't know what. After meeting with the Plattform person, I had a group interview with HR and two other people. That was less of an interview than a chat and while it was pleasant enough, there was an uncomfortable undertone. I knew that there were three candidates as I was given the choice of three interview slots, so it shouldn't have been too difficult to contact the unsuccessful candidates to tell them that they didn't get the job. Not doing so is both discourteous and unprofessional. From what I can tell from company reviews, I dodged a bullet.
