      Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Keyence (Chicago, IL)

      Entretien

The whole process takes about 2 months or so. If you applied, don't expect to hear back instantly. - After you apply if they like you then they will have you take a Benet test which is a mechanical engineering test (not that difficult but practice). - Then if you score high enough (which they don't tell you) expect another email a couple of weeks later where they want you to interview using 'HireVue'. You will talk to the camera and answer 7 questions about yourself, pretty basic things such as what you have been doing, what your plans for the future are etc. - If they like you after that then they will have you take a Caliper test which is a multiple choice personality test that takes around 70 minutes to complete. You have to complete this in order to attend the final stage which is an interview at the headquarters location in Chicago, which they will pay for. - The final day (career day) you will have around 20 people with you, who have also applied for around the same position from other parts in the country. Expect them to all be in their early 20's, mostly soon to be college graduates. You will go through either a morning or afternoon session which will be broken up into a case study with a group, a product demo in front of managers, a role play (also with managers), a personal interview (around 30 minutes), and a view at what it is like on a day to day basis. When you are preparing for your pitch, keep it interesting and short, ABSOLUTELY expect to be interrupted randomly and asked random questions about the product which you may or may not know. They have a brochure available in the room, you might want to not hand it over to them and be over confident as they will try and stump you. The role play is right after the product demo with the same managers, they will have you choose between 2 smalls items such as a pot of whiteout and whiteout tape, so prepare for that and look to close the sale. The other parts of the interview just be yourself, honesty is the best policy with this company because if you aren't a good fit then you just won't enjoy yourself to be honest. Overall it was a great process because you will more than likely not find a grueling process like this for other entry level jobs so it will bring you lots of confidence! You're Welcome Guys & Gals!
