I had an initial phone interview and three in person interviews about 5 months ago. They never had the curtesy to inform me I didn’t get the job. I had taken 3 separate days off of work to interview with this company, they didn’t even feel it was necessary to send a turndown letter or reach out to me via phone to keep me informed of the status. Disappointing and unprofessional, after I took 3 vacation days to meet with them. I interviewed with several people, one being the current President. He was extremely arrogant, almost rude. As a 23 year old male interviewing for a position at ‘his’ company, he wanted me to fully understand ‘he’ was the one in charge. I believe his intent was to intimidate me. However, I found him to be a small minded. I was interested in the position until meeting with the President and would never want to work for a person who appears to think of himself in such high regard. Humility goes a long way, perhaps he should take some feedback from a millennial and boast a little less about himself and his accomplishments during an interview.
