J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez John Deere (Overland Park, KS) en avr. 2022
Entretien
Applied on the company website on April 6, 2022. I was contacted by a recruiter the following day to schedule a video interview which was conducted on April 11. Was told by the recruiter that the hiring manager would reach out to me to set up any follow-up interview, which should be completed by Easter 2022 (April 17). But was also told by the recruiter that they had access to the hiring manager’s calendar and could assist if I had any questions about the schedule, etc.
Every few weeks, I reach out to the recruiter (the recruiter has yet to start a conversation except the first time to set up the interview) to figure out the status of my application and where they were in the hiring process. I can also see on my profile on the company website that they “are still reviewing applications.” On June 1, the date of the application changed from April 7 to June 1, but still has the “still reviewing applications” statement.
The last contact I had with the recruiter was on June 1 when I asked if the position was still available and when I should receive an interview or something from the hiring manager. The recruiter told me that needed to talk to the hiring manager. It’s June 10, and I have not heard anything from the recruiter or the hiring manager to let me know the status of my application.
This is the worst hiring experience I have ever had to encounter. It’s been more than two months of silence from the company and I have to start the conversation to figure out if I am still in the running for this position from the recruiter. I have never had such a horrible hiring experience as what I am experiencing right now. And I have applied for jobs where they had already hired someone before I had even submitted my application. At that was quick.
The only reason I am still interested is the recruiter told me the salary of the position and it’s a very attractive price.

First was the online application process. Their setup is very good; it allows you to save your job in their listings, and will tell you later if other jobs that you might be qualified for become open. I had an interview by phone. The interviewer was very friendly and personable, and made the interview relaxed. John Deere does behavioral interviews, which do require more preparation than some others.
