First you complete an online application, which if you succeed you will have to complete a series of tests, once you have passed these you will get an email about a telephone interview- during this it’s just questions about yourself and scenario based questions, they will let you know if you have been successful or not, if successful you will then get an email confirming you assessment day at your chosen base. The assessment day is pretty straight forward you go in register your details then you get taken into a room with everyone and put into groups to do activities, they will then call people out of the room and take them to another room this will be to tell you, you have been successful and have gotten to the interview stage, you will have break and get called for you interview.

Online based interviews using hirevue! A little stressful as you get limited time to prepare, and it's also awkward speaking to a camera. Definitely practice talking to yourself first to get more comfortable. Make sure you have examples about your own customer service! Not heard back from them yet! Takes quite a while

Started with a presentation about the airline and their values, followed by a short break. There was then a presentation exercise where you went to the front in pairs and told everyone about yourself. You then had to te the group what your partners most embarassing moment was. There was about 5 minutes of time to lrepare for this and tell your partner what your most embarrasing moment was. This was followed by another teamwork exercise where we each had a jigsaw piece and had to describe it to others. We then had to decided based off what others had described where on the board it should go. It was then placed face down and at the end the board was lifted up to reveal if the jigsaw pieces were in the right place. We then had to design a new hotel concept and then pitch it to the group. After this had finished, we were left with current cabin crew members to ask them any questions we had. We did this until the recruiters came back in the room to reveal who had made the interview stage. They read out a list of names and if your name was read you were to follow one of the recruiters to which my name was read out. After following the recruiter, we were told we had made the interview stage. The interview consisted of your motivation around applying for jet 2, you as a person, knowledge of the jet2 take me there values, and then a sale pitch which you prepared and carried out during the interview to show your sales ability. This was only for a short part of my interview and allowed me to show my abilities in sales. After this I met with the a lady who sorted out all referencing, ID (passport and proof of adress i.e driving licence/bank statement), and criminal record check. This finished for me at around 2pm we could leave as the assessment was over. I had a really enjoyable day after being very nervous before the day started, but once everything got going and I started to talk with people I was very relaxed. I would say that research around the airlines take me there values is crucial as this is what the interview mainly consisted of.
