A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn. I had a positive initial call with the recruiter and we discussed next steps. Then the next day I received a rejection email giving me feedback for declining based on a take home assignment I had never completed or been sent. I assumed the email was sent to me in error and asked the recruiter for clarification but never got a reply back.

A bit informal - easy questions. We’re not interested in discussing strategy or have a conversational style interview. Overall average experience. Didn’t have quick follow up during the interview process.
