Got called in for an interview and was asked general discussion questions to gauge my interpersonal skills and my personality. I was asked to come in for a second interview around a week later where I was asked to demonstrate my math skills as well as teaching ability. After I was hired I had one supervised session with students to ensure that my teaching quality was high enough.

Spoke with the owner/manager over the phone about qualifications and prior experience. At the end of the call we scheduled a time to meet in person at the facility. When there we went over the material that I would be expected to cover. Overall, it was an easy process and seemed like the decision was based on my educational background and prior work experience with children.
