J'ai postulé en personne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Jane Street (Londres, Angleterre)
Entretien
The Jane Street phone interview typically begins with a recruiter scheduling a 30–45 minute session focused on mental math, probability, and logic puzzles to assess quick thinking, mathematical intuition, and communication skills. Candidates are expected to solve problems mentally, often involving expected value, conditional probability, or strategic reasoning, and to clearly explain their thought processes. The tone is usually collaborative, with interviewers guiding the candidate through problem-solving rather than strictly evaluating correct answers. Follow-up rounds may delve deeper into multi-step or game-theoretic scenarios, depending on the role and initial performance.

Easy first round, they time how many questions you can get right and move you through the stages based on that. I only got through the initial assessment, which was extremely hard but I managed to do well. My resume also passed through but I'm from UT Austin so they definitely recruit other than just Harvard and Stanford.

Very difficult, nice location in London, a good trip
People are very nice but demanding and the interview ended very briefly
After applying next year got immediately rejected on CV screening, so I think that the cooldown period is real

Only made 2 rounds, pure problem-solving/ brainteaser interview. Very little / no behaviourals. Interviewer was friendly, but got straight into the brainteaser questions. Very quick to respond when passing to next round, slow response for rejection.
