Interview went great and she told me she’d talk to me by the end of the business day for next steps - then looked at me pointedly and said “you’re going to need to take a background check…and pass” in a very sad tone. I have tattoos but I have no record in any way shape or form. Ended up getting ghosted by the team despite being ready and willing to take a background check, had been given paperwork, and told they’d talk to me within 48 hours for next steps.
