      Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Intuitive (Sunnyvale, CA) en juin 2018

      Entretien

I applied online through their website. After about 1 month the recruiter emailed me and scheduled a phone interview with hiring manager. The phone interview was merely to know my background and what they are looking for. Then they emailed me to come onsite. Onsite interview was with 4 people asking diverse questions about software engineering and problem solving. At the end the director came into the room and told me they just asked him to interview me and he has not seen my resume. We talked for 10 minutes and then he left. Nothing too hard and I did well. Then after a week of no feedback I emailed the recruiter, he told he will get back in 2-3 days. He never did, and I didn't bother to follow up with them. It really pissed me off.

J'ai postulé via une agence de recrutement. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Intuitive en mai 2025

      Entretien

The recruiter reached via LinkedIn to pitch a position that sounded good for exploration. Pretty standard interview process was narrated, consisting of interview with hiring manager (video), take home assignment, online coding challenge with a lead and then an on- site interview with a panel, in that order. The recruiters were super nice in the beginning, and helpful in understanding what each stage entailed. Made it until the online coding round, was able to solve the problem, and the lead praised the solution as well as interaction. But, all of a sudden was ghosted like a fake business taking your money, with the recruiters assuring everything was fine when asked, but no forward move in the process. Gave up after a month of waiting time. The level of unprofessional behavior is blatant and repulsive, especially when the manager demanded ‘a highly professional and proficient engineer’ on the video call. Won’t entertain again.

Probably the best interview process in Silicon Valley (besides the longevity). Very friendly engineers and fair questions. I ended up withdrawing because of personal reasons but wish I could have continued.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

      1. Applied online, recruiter reached out 2. Spoke with department manager about my background and he elaborated more on the position. 3. Live coding interview with senior engineer. Simple C question and then more complex C++ system design, but he basically asked me what kind of questions I wanted. 4. Take home coding challenge. This is where I decided to pull out of the interview for personal reasons but the coding challenge was very reasonable and relative to the job. 5. next steps would have been review of coding challenge 6. Then finally the panel of 5-6 interviews
