The interview itself was incredibly short (max 10 mins). Said they would hire me after doing a background check. I got a call the next day, and they said there was something that made it so they couldn't hire me. Mind you, the worse thing on my "criminal record" is a speeding ticket from ~6 years ago. Obviously finding this alarming, I called, left a few voicemails and an email. I ran a private background check and got my credit pulled to see if there were any red flag there...nothing. The only thing that I could see being an issue is that my most recent employer was via a staffing agency, so maybe they thought I was lying about that?? At this point, I just want a response as to what could have popped up. Seeing the reviews on this site makes me think this oversight was dodging a bullet.
