Submitted my resume and cover letter and heard back within 2 weeks. HR set up a time for me to speak with program director I was working under. I spoke with the director for about 30 minutes and was offered the position. During the interview, all of the questions centered around experiences/skills I had cited in my cover letter. The director didn't ask any general interview questions. A strong cover letter worked wonders.
