BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY. First and only interview: President of the company started the interview asking what’s my experience with C# and ASP.Net. After that he asked me about the projects that I have worked on personally.
The reason I say be aware of this company is because I was offered the job via email and spoke with the president he didn’t talk about training or specifics on what the expectations would be onsite. Given this was a 1099 position and I’m suppose to come in and know what I’m suppose to be doing but giving your contract a rundown of the day would be great.
On to the pay, indeed had 25$ - 40 or 40k 60k for some reason so those numbers don’t add up. They offered 25 at first and countered with 30$ which he verbally said that’s fine.
Long story short, he emailed me offering the job and said I can start in 2 weeks. He said no problem and 2 weeks and 2 follow up emails later I was ghosted and didn’t understand why. A lot of red flags in this company.

The interview process was casual. It was very informal, and I was led to believe I would be given more autonomy of my responsibilities. However, what I was promised and what was actually expected were very different and it was really disappointing. The interview itself only lasted about 30 minutes. I had to really sell my plan I had about curating content and what areas to focus. It was well received, but when work started I received an incredible amount of push back and expectations that were never communicated previously.
