I applied online, got an email with cognitive ability and personality assessments. After completing this, I was told that I would actually need to re-take the tests as I would need to be assessed in Portuguese. This wasn't just absurd, but ridiculous. I agreed to re-take the test just to see where this was going. A few days later after the 2nd test, I received a rejection e-mail letting me know the hiring manager opted to move forward with candidates of a different background. Why was I selected for assessment tests then? This company will waste your time. Recruiter mentioned the company was laying off employees during the pandemic. Isn't this a great intro to start a conversation?
