J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Instructure (Salt Lake City, UT) en mai 2015
Entretien
1. Phone Interview with HR; non-technical; 15 mins
2. Video call with Director of Development; Answered some simple fizzbuzz types in an online text editor; 30 mins
3. 3 - 4 hour coding exercise implementing a front-end to a REST service in any language/tech. Pretty straight forward.
4. 6 1-hour interviews on site with tech leads and director of development. Almost all included whiteboard coding in language of choice. 1 included building a small node app on the interviewers machine. This was too much. If you can't tell my skill level with 4 coding questions you can't tell with 12+ (They also provided lunch.)
After I did all of the prerequisites and took a day off work to go for a full day of interviews they called a full week later to let me know that they actually didn't need what the job posting said and they were only hiring developers with 10+ years of experience. If that is the truth then get your act together. 12+ hours is a lot to commit to an interview process that will never pan out.

Question 1
Implement the sieve of eratosthenes as a function in any language. Additionally they asked me to implement it as a generator.
First technical interview with engineers from different regions, followed by a conversation with US-based leadership.
The technical interview focused on AI-assisted coding and problem solving, while the second round was a more free-form discussion with management.
Did not receive customized feedback, only a generic rejection.

The first round was a brief phone screening (around 5 minutes) covering basic background information and general eligibility.
The next two rounds were technical interviews, each conducted by an Engineering Manager and a Developer. The discussions focused on prior experience, system design approaches, and architectural decision-making.
The live coding tasks were practical and implementation-oriented. One exercise involved array manipulation (similar to sliding window problems on LeetCode), where specific elements needed to be returned. Another task required filtering inappropriate words from a string.

How I would design and implement a form submission flow

Interview process was great! It was a two-interview process. First interview was with the team manager and the director. They asked me some behavioral as well as some technical questions. Second interview was a panel interview with the whole team in their office. A lot of whiteboarding/technical questions. The team seemed like a fun team to work with!
Overall, I'd say they have a well-designed interview process that isn't too difficult or scary.
It's a bummer that I didn't get an offer though, as I felt like I did really well. I was also bothered by the fact that the position was reposted on LinkedIn almost immediately after they sent me a rejection email. Odd timing. I really want to believe it was just a coincidence, but you just never know in this job market.
