Very lengthy process with technically four steps, two pre-screenings and two in person. It's fun if you really want this job, but a little anxiety inducing to wait for an answer.

First there is a video screening. Then, you interview with over Zoom. You do have to do a mock teaching scenario where you act like you're teaching an unresponsive student.

BEWARE!! This place discriminates against age and religion. I'm a language teacher with extensive experience in reading, and the last ten years in online synchronous teaching. I've taught K through 12th grade. I suppose you have to be available all days (except Friday) even if you have religious obligations on another day. It was a lengthy process with a long application, followed by a essay with a one-way video. Then, I had a face interview with Zoom. The interviewer was very enthusiastic, but she didn't seem to care about my answers. It seemed she didn't know how to interview. She would tell their policy, then ask, "Are you comfortable with that?" I wasn't able to give my experiences. She gave me a start date and explained that my going out of town for a few days was not a problem. Why talk dates when you are not going to give an offer?
