Multiple phone interviews. First was with recruiter, second with regional technical lead, third with hiring manager and fourth with director.
Typical questions about background, dealing with background in dealing with technical pre-sales (types of customers, products). Lots of information provided about their internal processes, methologies and goals.
All the interviews were positive. Most were philosophical discussions or anecdotal about your background.
I was offered the position with a very reasonable compensation and benefits. The process stalled however with their "over-the-top" non-compete/non-solicitation agreement. California has laws that protect an individual and their right to work after the fact. Their document contained provisions that are out of scope with the laws of California. Since they were unwilling to modify I had to ultimately refuse. (FYI California Business and Professions Code Section 16600)
