The interview process moved quickly from application to phone screening, which delved deeply into my experience despite there being four more steps ahead. However, I didn’t feel the interviewer was entirely genuine when asked about the previous person in the role or the flexibility they offer. The conversation began with a firm statement that salary is non-negotiable and that candidates must trust their system. While I understand this policy, I believe it could have been framed in a way that maintained enthusiasm rather than feeling off-putting. Overall, I left the interview neither excited about the role nor confident in the organization's culture.
