      Entretien

      I was brought in for three separate interviews. The first I was introduced to two cunning and amicable young professionals that encouraged a lively conversation, it went famously... about over an hour or so long but I was considered a better fit for their sales team by talent acquisition. I came in for my second interview unwelcomed by two sales directors that began the interview with the statement, "We don't currently have any positions available." They then proceeded to ask, "Why you?" four times over within the fifteen minute interview. I of course provided four different renditions of the business and interpersonal traits I have available to succeed with a winning team... But that completely changed my view of the company. They called me back for a third interview but the lack of professionalism and just clear disregard or disrespect of my time was enough for me to withdraw my application to their unknown department that may or may not necessarily have an opening. Upon my first interview I was certain it was the company for me, but on my latter meeting I was completely dismayed. Talent acquisition is certainly there as an advocate for you to do your best during the interview process. I would ensure confirmation that who you are interviewing with will be the individual(s) that you will directly report to:

      Interview was during COVID so I had an initial phone interview with the HR recruiter and then if moved onto next steps, met with 3 different managers via teams. Took about a week and a half - two weeks to fully hear back if I was accepted.

      It nerve wrecking. I was nervous on how to answer the questions. All I can say is, prepare yourself and ask yourself before the interview to practice yourself and give your best shot.
