I had applied for Applications engineer role through referral. HR forgot to inform about the scheduled interview and when I called to follow up on the application, she told me the interview is already scheduled tomorrow and when I asked time to prepare as well as I needed time to reschedule my current work commitments she told it's a drive and cannot be rescheduled. I found this behavior of HR very unprofessional as if it was a drive it would have been planned earlier and therefore should have been communicated on time.(Atleast before 2 days)

Question 1
In the first round of technical interview they explained the job description thoroughly and asked questions based on resume, MCUs and C.
-How does a code compile?
-About the storage classes
-Wired protocols (I2C, SPI, UART)
They asked me 2 codes.
First was on bit manipulation (Set/Clear a bit on kth position)
Second one was to reverse a string using pointers
They will ask questions on each step of the code you have written so first think about the logic properly and then you can start to code.

Ok but they expect to be really strong in technical domains. And need to be in a mindset where you know 100% or dont know about it. It gets difficult when dealing with mediocre ideas
