I recently had a recruitment experience with Inditex that left me thoroughly disappointed. A recruiter approached me via LinkedIn. It felt like they were reaching out blindly, without knowing their needs or my experience. This lack of preparedness was evident during the first interview, where the recruiter seemed to be ticking off generic questions and spent the entire time yawning like they had no sleep before. Things improved slightly during the second interview. Finally, someone explained the process and the vertical I would work in. The interviewer took time to get to know me but took 1h30 instead of the 45 minutes initially scheduled. The interviewer used the first 35 minutes to explain what Inditex wants to be in 5 years. At the end of the interview, the interviewer affirmed that I would go to the next stage and that the recruiter would contact me shortly with the next steps. I received no response from Inditex for ten days. After contacting the recruiter, she informed me that the process had already been closed. This entire experience highlights the gaps within Inditex's culture for Product and Engineering. I will not invest more time with Inditex if they reach out again.
