J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Included Health
Entretien
Recruiter call followed by a technical interview. The email for the technical interview specifically mentioned that it would be less focused on algorithms and more on OOP principals. When the interview came I was surprised to find that it was focused on an algorithm. I was somewhat thrown off by this but ended up solving the question fairly well. My interviewer then began to talk about what my next interview would be and that it would be scheduled soon. I then received an email rejecting my application. Confusing company.

Throughout the interview process, recruiters were very unresponsive to emails. It took nearly three weeks after they first reached out to schedule an initial phone call. They did not promptly follow up after my interview to provide feedback. In general, this left me with a bad impression of the company and I felt disrespected as a candidate.
The onsite was good for the most part. My conversations in person with my recruiter were very helpful. Many of the people on the team I spoke to were friendly and engaged, asking insightful questions. Topics covered were pretty typical, mostly system design and questions about previous projects.
I didn't feel too put off until the final interview of the day. The interviewers showed up to my room over 10 minutes late without much of an apology or explanation. During the interview one of my interviewers accepted a phone call and stepped out of the room. I think this is acceptable on occasion if the call is an emergency. The other interviewer I caught looking at his phone several times during the interview, which is incredibly unprofessional and demoralizing if you're a candidate. I had gotten the impression that they had already made up their minds before they stepped foot in the room and that my time was being wasted.
In general, the interview process was kind of a mess and came off to me as disorganized and unprofessional. Be responsive to your candidates and give them your full attention. I've take the time to apply, interview, and fly to SF for the onsite. The least you can do is give me the same level of attention.
